About the Event

Beginner:

This program will be treated more as an introduction to pitching. Things discussed will include:

  • Proper-Warm-Up
  • Throwing Progression
  • Mechanical Breakdown & Analysis
  • How to Throw Harder
  • How to Throw Better Off-Speed Pitches (Changeup, Curveball, Slider, or Whatever is Best Suited for That Player)
  • Basic Mindset of Pitchers
  • Basic Pitch Sequencing
  • Post-Throwing & Recovery

Each pitcher will be evaluated on day one, and then receive an evaluation sheet on day two, outlining their mechanics, strengths, and weaknesses, as well as a plan for each player to improve. Day two will be focused on mechanics. Day three will be all about mindset, and off-speed pitches.

Pitchers will throw each day roughly the following amount of pitches:

Day 1 - 10-15 Pitches (Evaluation-only)

Day 2 - 15-20 Pitches (Mechanical Focus)

Day 3 - 25-35 Pitches (Off-Speed Focus, and Mixing Pitches)

Advanced:

This program will be in-depth, discussing higher-level details of pitching. Things discussed will be (difference between advanced and beginner are highlighted):

  • Proper-Warm-Up
  • Throwing Progression
  • Use of Pitching Rapsodo
  • Advanced Mechanical Breakdown & Analysis
  • How to Throw Harder
  • Weight-Lifting Plan and List of Exercises to Help Increase Velocity
  • How to Throw Better Off-Speed Pitches (Changeup, Curveball, Slider, or Whatever is Best Suited for That Player)
  • Pitch Design
  • Advanced Mindset of Pitchers
  • Advanced Pitch Sequencing
  • Post-Throwing & Recovery
